At DiaperGuard, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for our Service.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. By subscribing to DiaperGuard, you agree to these terms.
2. Free Trial Period
New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all DiaperGuard features.
- No payment information is required to start the trial
- You can cancel anytime during the trial period
- If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged
- After 14 days, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged
We recommend trying the full trial period to ensure DiaperGuard meets your needs before committing to a paid subscription.
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your DiaperGuard subscription at any time. There are two ways to cancel:
Method 1: Cancel Through Your Account
- Log into your DiaperGuard account
- Go to Account Settings or Subscription Settings
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Method 2: Contact Support
Email us at support@diaperguard.app with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and include:
- Your account email address
- Confirmation that you want to cancel
We will process your cancellation request within 1 business day and send you a confirmation email.
4. What Happens When You Cancel
Immediate Effects
- Your subscription will not renew
- No future charges will be made to your payment method
- You will receive a confirmation email confirming your cancellation
Access After Cancellation
You retain full access until the end of your current billing period.
For example, if you cancel on January 15th but your billing period ends on January 30th, you will continue to have full access to DiaperGuard until January 30th. After that date, your access will end.
Your Data
- Your account and transaction data remain intact during your paid period
- After your subscription ends, your data is retained for 90 days
- You can reactivate within 90 days without losing data
- After 90 days, your data may be permanently deleted
5. Refund Policy
Standard Refund Policy:
We do not provide refunds for the current billing period. Cancellations take effect at the end of your paid subscription period.
Why No Refunds?
We offer a generous 14-day free trial so you can fully evaluate DiaperGuard before committing to a paid subscription. This trial period allows you to:
- Test all features without any payment
- Determine if the Service meets your needs
- Cancel at any time with no charges
Since you have this opportunity to try before you buy, we do not offer refunds once a paid subscription begins.
6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
While our standard policy does not include refunds, we may consider refunds in exceptional circumstances, such as:
Technical Issues
If you experienced significant technical problems that prevented you from using the Service and we were unable to resolve them, we may issue a pro-rated refund.
Billing Errors
If you were charged in error (e.g., double-charged, charged after cancellation), we will immediately refund the incorrect charge.
Unauthorized Charges
If your account was compromised and unauthorized charges were made, contact us immediately. We will investigate and issue a refund if fraud is confirmed.
To request a refund for exceptional circumstances, email support@diaperguard.app with:
- Your account email
- Detailed explanation of the issue
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation
We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and will respond within 3-5 business days.
7. Reactivating Your Subscription
Changed your mind after canceling? You can easily reactivate your subscription:
- Before access ends: Simply uncancel through your account settings
- After access ends (within 90 days): Log in and resubscribe - your data will be restored
- After 90 days: You can create a new subscription, but previous data may not be recoverable
8. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (chargeback), please contact us first at support@diaperguard.app. We're happy to work with you to resolve any billing issues.
Filing a chargeback may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Permanent ban from using DiaperGuard
- Loss of all account data
Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication with our support team.
9. Subscription Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. If we increase prices:
- Existing subscribers will receive 30 days' notice
- Your current rate is locked in until your next renewal after the notice period
- You can cancel before the price increase takes effect with no penalty
